Sidekick has left self FOREVER

Suddenly, Sidekick put self in the car and said, we are going to house of pack!  Sidekick and Self always go to house of pack and is always so most fun.  But we got there, and Sidekick said good bye and left.  Well, is no big deal, sometimes Self stays all the day with Sister Cookie and comes back to Sidekick the next day.

A night passed.  A day passed.  No Sidekick.  Boo.  At least self was getting tasty foods, and so most snuggles, and plenty ball fetch.

Sometimes when is snuggle time, self grrrrrs.  But not today!

Another night passed.  Another day passed.  No Sidekick.  Now is time to panic!  Why for has Sidekick abandoned self?  Worst life for a puppy, to have all the walks, and all the play time with 2-legged-puppies, and all the frisbee.

This went on, and on, and on!  Why was nobody explaining this to self?  Went on for two whole weeks.  Then, the explanation!  Sidekick went to You-Ta for something which is called a job interview.  Is like herding test for cattle dog?

Obviously there are many important parts of an interview.  Firstly, going to beautiful places.  Without taking Self, boo.  Self would have had the most fun running on the sand and sniffing animal tracks.

And then taking many drives.  Again without self.  Obviously also very important for job interview.

 

 Zion National Park... or at least the outside of it... since they had a $25/car fee.

Then, Sidekick met some new Best Friends.  With capitals, but not meaning Evil Stepmummy.  Apparently this has meaning and was the most important part of the interview.

Sidekick met so most dogs, and so most people, and did so most training with so most types of behavioral issues.  Best Friends not perfect behaved dogs like Self.

And now, Sidekick is back!  There is much rejoicing.  Sidekick will take 2 weeks to decide, whether she and Self do want to move to You-Ta.  And maybe Sidekick will leave the evil cat?  Self can hope.

Self would be interested to move to You-Ta.  Self has heard tell, there is plenty hiking and plenty dog friends for to meet and even some water!  But, Self is happy with whatever makes Sidekick happy.  Making Sidekick happy is most important priority and Self hopes that Sidekick makes choice that creates all the happy.

Learning about music #2

Has been the longest time since Self has given all the people a singing lesson!  Self knows, that Self is the most best singer.  So here goes.  Following is a song that Self learned some of  last year.  Recently, self has learned more of the lyrics!

a rock, a stick, a frisbee,
won't you throw it for me Cinty?"

See how Self is so excited for to chase the stick?  Even will chase all the rocks!  Just throw it!

Self has met these dogs at the shelter.

Now, all the people, please to be singing!

Self was right to be nervous.

What has Sidekick done?!  And why?!  Was so nice for to have a mostly empty house.  Only with self and Penny, and Penny and self mostly can just get along.  But then, Sidekick had to add these!

And then there were three.  Little Russell was found all by his lonesome and only 5 weeks of old.  Other pups were six weeks of old, so the thought was, what is one more!  Little Russell can have some brothers.  And brothers they became.

And then there were 6... for labrabundles had siblings, of which were in another foster home.  The cats, they were not fans of the puppies.  Self is neither fans of the puppies, so self does not see why puppies had to come.  But so they did.

Was soon enough, that the labrapups and Russell were old enough for their neuter!  So off they toddled.  But what to do with so most puppies?  Small town and small shelter would have a hard time finding homes in a nice, speedy manner.

A decision was made!  All the puppies were for to go to Colorado to find brand new homes!  And off they went.  Good bye puppies, and good riddance!

Sidekick Note: We had these puppies for the first two and a half weeks in July.  It was so busy, there was no time for an update!  Now, we finally have internet at our house so Vertigo and I are hoping to try and continue with more regular updates... and there are many updates around here to be had!  Regardless, no matter how little we post we never intend to go fully off the grid... we might just have less frequent posts occasionally.

Time flies most fast when there are big, crazy puppies taking up all the space, and all the time, and all the food, and all the games.

The remaining 8 infestations take up the entire pool-bed.

And also they take up many of the space in the pen at the shelter.

On this day here, Granite took a day visit to house of the pack, which was most best, because self did not have to see her for all the day.

And then... Granite went to a new home!  With a three and four year old human puppies!  All the way in Colorado!

So otherwise, updates:  Granite is new homed.  Nickel, now Gemma, is new homed with a cat, another dog, and a three year old human puppy.  Sidekick gets to see Nickel regularly.  Cinnabar just this week got new homed as well!  Halfway there... but the remaining puppies are 30lbs big!

Self has not forgotten all the people!

Self has in fact been thinking about all the people many a times.  All the days, when Sidekick is most busy at work or with the infestations, self sits and wishes, that new house had internets.  But alas, is not so.  Must be waiting until am taken to house of pack before can say hello.

Apologies, for know, that infestations are interesting for to watch grow, and there has been no infestation information!  Is even most worst, that would so most like to show all the people the many many videos.  But most unfortunate, the Tube of You is making is most impossible to sign in at the current times!  So instead, is some photos.  In these photos are puppies of 6 weeks old.  Soon to be coming photos of puppies of 8 weeks old, yes.

Grr-woof!

You mean these are puppies?!  No way.  This is just as bad as infestations!  What is self supposed to do with so many puppies in the house?  And they are getting so most big and they will take up all the space!
