Today we go archive digging! Of hikes and dog parks

To all the people,

Self is full of apology!  It turns out, there are many an unfinished post floating around that self was never able to share.

On this week, Self went to the dog park!  Rarely does this happen, for self would like to have all the toys to self and never for to share.

Dog park is most best for summer day, for dog park has a swimming tub!

Self jumps into swimming tub, then out, then chases the ball, then brings ball back, then jumps into swimming tub, and washes the ball, and repeat!


And always all the people comment on Self's beautiful tail.

Self also went on hike, for to watch all the beautiful late Summer flowers!  Yellows and Purples and Reds.

JC played Queen of the Mountain!

Haiku Review #7

Sidekick went away
Evil Stepmummy to stay
Full of the funsies

Go to cattle ranch
Was so most excited but!
Gone were all the cows

Sidekick went to work
Self and Penny went with she.
Was much less lonely

Big hike on the hill,
Most big hike on most big hill.
Will write about soon.

A very busy Thursday to all!

Thursdays these days have been so most busy!  A very packed social calendar.

Firstly, is time for to go on playdate in snow with Wyatt and JC.  An hour long outing is had.  First is time for to walk up the big hill, then all will sit and stay while leashes are off.  Then, GO!  Run across the big field and all the way back.  And on leash again and back down the big hill!

Then next, is time to pick Cara and Emma up from their house.  All pile into the car and drive to a trail!

"Hallo!" says Cara, with her tongue hanging out.

And next is the time for to walk with Sunny.  And Sister Cookie goes also with! 

Will run so far away and be back... at some point.

*Sidekick says for this to make sense, is important to know that New Townsville is where movie "Let Me In" was filmed.  So most a vampire movie and this is so most the vampire tunnel!

Poles, tunnel, over!
Agility all the days
The focus and speed

Sidekick goes to work
Spends all the time away from,
Helping other dogs

Will tell you a thing!
So love evil stepmummy
Will lick for always

For the morning walk
Where run with Wyatt and Jace
Now in starry night

New rawhide bone toys
Hard, with strange chemicals
Make tummy so sick

Have a secret news!
About a phoenix and cat
For to chase, or not?

Had all the most fun
Friday night at Downtown Dogs

Please, let's stay HERE!

If could choose the place for to live forever, know what would do.  Would not be in this desert-ish New Townsville.  No no.  Or would it be Old Townsville.  Would be a most wonderful land, let me tell.  With warm but not so so hot.  With long springy grass.  With flowers and many things for to sniff.  With other people and dogs for to make all the friends with!  And with WATER.

Like so!  This is the place!

Is called the Hay-Mes   Jemez.  Must learn for to speak Spanish!  Is easy language for to learn! and is the most wonderful place in the world.  Went the other day with Sidekick and Evil Stepmummy and Cookie.  Walked for hours, which was most best!  And always was running to the water.

Splash!  Then to get out and shake all over and sniff all the things and jump in again.  And so on.  Could even roll in COW SMELL.  So love the cow smell all over, and was important for to take cow smell to car and to home.

Asked Sidekick, please to be staying forever?  But Sidekick said no.  Said, would have to learn how to hunt for food like fishies and bugs and birds and chipmunks, and would not be fun and games and splash splash splash all day.  Self said, do not believe Sidekick!  So decided to stay in the nice pond and play all the day.

But wait!  Oh no... living in the Jemez is none fun without Sidekick... is most difficult to decide.  Jemez and water... or Sidekick... then was decided.  For to go back with Sidekick.  As long as can take cow smell with!

And never will any dasies cover it, the most delicious bovine scent.

Always with the hiking

Always, ALWAYS, with the so best hiking!  Hiking must be what friends are for.

Nova so super indeed!

In Lost Almost, am always most excited for to meet new potential friends.

This week, was dog name of Nova.  She come on walk with Sidekick and self one day!  Was good that, when Nova come out of house, she not bark or growl or anything.  She just stand excited, ready to sniff.  Was very polite.  Then Jacinta grab both leashes, and all walk together, Nova on one side and self on other.  All walk for about 5 minutes.

Then after 5 minutes, Jacinta say to sit.  She put long rope on collar of Nova, and let self and she run and run and run!  So zoomed around and so sniffed each other.  Was good with rope, that Nova could have space but could not run away.

Off-leash walks always so best, and are also best when dog friend comes along!

Hikes

Almost never have seen so much space in which to run. Have been on three hikes so far since have gotten into Lost Almost. First, hike near dog park, was first meeting of Cookie.  

Then next was super fun walk! Next was day of long hike near horse stables (horse stables! Cannot wait to go see) and was so best hike because went with whole pack! Including Evil Stepmummy! Was so best to see Evil Stepmummy! Was as good and calm as possible as could be, because Evil Stepmummy so evil and require best behaviour. Then on walk, all pack had food but would not give any food. Would not share, was so rude. Made go away and explore by self, but Evil Stepmummy came to entertain and was nice.

Hike other day was maybe best so far because, have started to be able to breathe bit better. Went in what is called Walnut Canyon. Practiced bit of obedience and such. Even though sister like to run off, self preferred to stay close to Jacinta. Would turn around and stare at, with such to say, please hurry up! Is so much to explore!  

Following big sister.  So knows best ways to go!

Also was fun for to do puppy zooms and prances and bounces. Felt so energied and happy. Was great rocks and logs and bridges for to climb on and run under, and stairs to run up and down.

Best was meeting lovely energied girl dog! Much more fun than sister Cookie because was happy to play rough and tumble chase for few minutes before moving on.  Also got tasty treat from owner of other dog.
Cannot wait for to have another hike. Am so tired and happy after hikes.

Will just have 2 minute power nap and be ready to go again.

And then was home with pack

 Could not contain excite when finally saw Jacinta after many many days of cramped travel with gross food.  Jumped right into arms and held on like koala!  Did not want to even get down for to pee, though had long travel.  Was too excited for to see.  So got speedy quick into car to go to home.

After bit, stopped for quick break.  After only few minutes, was frightening sensation!  Was all tingly on paws, and fur stood up on end.  Said, want to get back in car!  So jumped in where was heat all hugging me.  Realized that scary sensation, that have been feeling for days, is being cold.  Have never before been this cold.

Must wear jacket for to be warm.

Other thing about here, Lost Almost, is that is so hard to breathe.  Must pant and pant and pant, and cannot get enough to breathe.  Is okay to walk around house to explore, but cannot do too much running.

And the thirst.  Oh the thirst!  Must keep drinking forever and ever and ever, and am still so thirsty.  Thought was thirsty at Townsville, where was so hot and sticky and must always drink, but in Lost Almost is ten times worst.

Are great things about being home with pack.  So love all people, and are so many toys all over that so love to play with!  When got here, new big sister not yet here, so got to play so fun with all toys all around house.

Is also so much space in both house and nice yard!   Can walk most places, but when Jacinta says “ah-ah,” must turn around and not go where am going.  Is like, if go too far away from in outside yard, or if go up stairs inside.  Sometimes forget, but sometimes remember and when remember not to go over, Jacinta so pleased with.

Was difficult to sleep in night.  Was so cold, and is not enough space on bed to sleep with Jacinta, though so wanted to.  Have big puffy bed for self for to sleep in, but was not yet comfortable.  Slept instead on floor, but was cold and kept to wake up over and over.

Now is so comfy though, and like to sleep so sound inside around pack, and sometimes be bit squiggly.  Especially with new big sister Cookie, who have now met!  Will tell all about Cookie soon.

Cannot wait for more adventures in brand new house!
