Was also so proud of Sister Cookie, for she also earn two more Novice Rally legs!  Second was 3rd place with score of 83.

Second was also 3rd place, with score of 90!

And again, so proud.

Next to be achieving RA (Rally Advanced) titles!

Congratulations to self!  Have had the best time on Air-is-ona road trip, that have gotten two more legs for Rally Novice!

The Weekend: Cookie's Rally-O

Was not just self that had much fun in Apple Turkey!  Cookie also got to do some games.

First was getting to to Rally, like self.  Cookie, she so stressed sadly.  She not enjoy the game as much.  Is the most sad, for sidekick say that once a time she so love to do the Rally game.  She get scores of 98 and 99 and prance around the ring like a show horse.  Sadly was not the case on this time.  But she still got a qualify.

  

Score card for Cookie is above.  Stress made poor sister not want to sit, only to stand and stare at Sidekick.  Also she think, is best to stay calm by smelling all the things and trying to walk far behind.

Above you can watch Cookie do the course.  Are mistakes, but are also some very well done stations!  Cookie should be proud for working so hard when stressy.

Rally was not only thing that Cookie got to play.  Also got to play the Obedience game.  Unfortunately she not qualify in that.  Was because of her being stressy, and also made sidekick stressy.  Cookie would have done ok but stupid sidekick made mistake of turning around to call Cookie.  Should have kept walking.  Next time, Sidekick not be so stupid.

Sidekick asks, "Ready?" and Cookie says, "Ready!"

Was many, many a thing for Cookie to be proud for.  She has the most rock solid sit-stay.  For those who do not know, when testing the stay in Obedience competition, all the dogs must line up off leash in the ring.  Were 10 dogs to test.  One of the dogs was a 120 pound Akita.  Well, 20 seconds into the stay, the Akita decided that staying was the most boring.  He wanted to say hello.  Guess who he wanted to say hello to?  Sister Cookie.  Now, Sister Cookie a 70 pound dog.  But she so dwarfed by this 120 pound dog.  He go right up to her, stand over, and put his nose right in her eyes.  AND SISTER COOKIE STAYED THERE.  Good girl, sister Cookie, yes you are yes you are!  Would like to bite Sidekick for not having video.  She say, "Sit stay more boring than watching grass grow.  No need to video." And then this.  For now always, all the stays will be videoed just in case.

The weekend: HERDING!

The weekend, Rally-O!

So the most best competition day over weekend!  Went with Cookie and sidekick to Apple Turkey (Which is funny, turns out, tastes not like apples or turkeys).  And first was Rally-O!  Had to heel around a fun course.  Did mostly well!  Here is video.

Rally Novice title, here self comes!  Will have to go and win at two more trials.

Editor's note:  Vertigo and I are so sorry for the late post and general lack of posts!  We had been trying to get our trial videos up and Blogger was giving us error messages each time we tried to upload a video straight to the blog.  We've finally realized that the way to get around this is to upload them to Youtube first, so expect to see a few archive videos in the next few weeks.

Lack of information makes for disappointed puppy.

Is the LEAST.  FAIR.  Sister Sophie went away.

Was so confused when Jacinta came back home without Sister Sophie in tow.  Asked, "Where did best new little sister go?  Is on vacation?"  But sidekick explain, Sophie was only in house for little while while mum of Sophie had surgery.  Now Sophie so happy back at house with mum.  Is no longer to live here.

But being on the deck with Sophie was all the fun!

WHY?!  Why must evil Sidekick take best small sister away from?  Will most miss all the chasing and cuddling and squiggling.

Sidekick says, must be upbeat and look at good side again, like done with when cannot go on morning walks.  Suppose, Sophie so always stole attention of pack, and also would steal food.  Maybe can be okay, as long as can visit!  Yes, a visit!  Cannot wait for a visit!

Will remember her just like so, a playful and slightly annoying little sister.

More Weave Stick-ing

Agility training always so best!  Have started with the weekly classes again, in which can do many jumps and teeters and a-frames and dog walks and tunnels!  When Jacinta make mistake, turn around and yell, "You bad sidekick!  You so bad at Agility!  Please to be not doing wrong thing ever again!"  Is so frenziful.  At end of run, get stringed cheese and for to play with tug rope.

At home, training does not stop.  Have begun for to practice weave sticks again and are doing so well.  Now have another set lined up, for to have 6 sticks for to run through.  Obsverve!  Only do not take too much notice of spin at end, where knock over pole.  Is wrong for to do but is sidekick's fault.  Am so excited for to get reward and cannot wait for it!

Shelter Stories: SusieQ

Jacinta has asked for to share a story with all.  Is story of happy ending of dog at shelter, name of Susie!  Jacinta often call her Suze.

Jacinta took Suze to new home on weekend!  All the way from Lost Almost to Apple Turkey, where ground taste of Apples and Turkeys.  And now Suze so happy!  Instead of trying to explain with words, will share all the videos and all the pictures.

BABYSITTING

Is important for all to know:  Superdogs are not for to being babysitting young puppies.

But nevertheless (new big word have learned recently because am so more grown up every day), babysitting is what had to do last week.  Was not asked politely, was not given chance to discuss pros and cons.  Was just taken to new house and told, "Here.  Take good care of puppy."

 

 Was thing with name of Kipper, and would NOT LEAVE ALONE.

Kipper puppy thing would never stop squiggling.  Would run and run and run and jump and jump and jump and bite and bite and bite.  Would run outside, and inside, and outside, and inside.

Please to be letting outside!  Without crazy puppy!

 Tried all the things to tell to stop.  First, would turn head.  Puppy thought was funny.  Then would run away.  Puppy thought was funny.  Then would growl.  Puppy thought was funny.  Then would jump on.  Puppy thought was funny.  Then would snap at.  Puppy thought was funny.  Then would pin to ground.  At first, puppy scared of, but then, few seconds later puppy thought was funny.

Could not escape!

Dumb sidekick not so helpful.  Only sometimes would make puppy relax but other times, let puppy be crazy.  How can any puppy be so annoying and crazy?

Only good thing about babysitting was, could eat food of puppy.  Would dash speedy quick to food bowl and eat mouthfuls and mouthfuls.

But then also sometimes, guess puppy not so bad after all.  Has small normal dog brain, but has promise.  Might just be good playmate at times.  Cookie best forever, but maybe is good for to practice fending off crazies.

Third, am stand like a people.  Should get new video of, because am still so good at.

Fourth, am jump on fence so so awesome.  Now have no fence to jump on so awesome.  Is tragic.

All but beg so pretty have come up with on own to show Jacinta. Am so clever.

So no one told that snow was gonna be this way!

Was amazingly new when got up in morning.  Looked outside, and was like white sand covering all of world!  Was so excite and could not wait to go out to play.  Had first to get warm coat on.  Then out the door!  Was first shock.  Thought, nothing could surely be colder than already am, but was indeed!  Made feet go chilly.  Tried to dig and dig and dig, but did not work so well as thought.  But still felt so invigorated!  Decided to zoom and zoom and zoom, all around place!

Will go faster and faster and faster!

Just was made so hyper by cold wet white sand!  Learned, is called snow!  Have heard before of snow!  Think is pretty amazing, but have to keep feet moving speedy quick to stop the tingle.  When am out in snow, will play and play and play with Cookie, like wrestle and chase.  Cookie so enjoy chase but, am too fast!  She can never catch.  When play is over, am happy to go back inside, take coat off, play towel game, and then relax.

Snow definitely not so bad!

Cookie so fun now.  So love to play bitey face and pull on ears and fur.  So love to pin Cookie to ground and pretend to rip out throat.  Then roll all around on ground with.  Here, please watch!

 

As promised, how learned "drop on recall"

First step: Had target towel, that had to go and lie down on. When went and lied down on, would get treat. Soon learned, was always to lied down on towel.

Is so fun to lie on towel!

Second step: Jacinta stood right on one side of towel. Was called to Jacinta. When got to Jacinta, instead of sit, had to down. Was easy to learn, because towel was there.

Third step: Jacinta took step back from towel and called. Had to learn, was not to lie down near feet. Was to lie down on towel. Took steps farther and farther back.

Fourth step: Made towel smaller and smaller. Folded up until could not fit on towel. Had to lie down near towel.

Lie down so fast!

Fifth step: Was most difficult. Had to learn, was not only to lie down when saw towel. Was only to lie down when heard "down" command. Sometimes Jacinta would call and not say "down." Then was to come to feet and sit. Is still a bit complicated.

Am waiting for to be called!

Sixth step: Towel got taken away. Pattern in training session was like so. First time, call with towel but without down. Second time, call with towel but without down. Third time, call with towel and with down. Fourth time, call without towel and with down. Then is training session over, and try all again next session.

Then, is "drop on recall" learned! Observe.

Secret Beach

Have almost got down getting Jacinta to feed for sitting at side. Only problem- she is stupid and so must only sit straight ahead and lined up with leg, or will not click. Want food, girl. Give food.

Also today went to new beach. At first was hard because family kept going away from!!! Was scared and annoyed. Pack must stick together or will get lost! So screamed and screamed but Jacinta would not let go catch up. Does she not understand? Pack must stick together! Even later, most of family went down to beach but Jacinta would not take, because would not walk in spiky grass and also could not find way on tricky rocks. Jacinta would not carry. So sat up on rock and watched pack on beach.

Hello down there, pack!

After a nice nap though, Jacinta decided would go down. (Not nap for her!) Was difficult and she had to carry through very spiky grass and tricky rocks. But once got down was awesome waves and awesome sand and awesome! All smelled like dead fish. Played all around in the waves and in sand. After, had to have Jacinta carry back through tricky rocks and spiky grass, but once got out of spiky grass, knew where to go and took Jacinta home, because she was very lost. Superdog senses save the day!

After got home, just had to take nap. (Jacinta too!) And after nap, walked to fish and chip shop. Pack still stupid and would not stay together, so had to yell some more. Hopefully can teach them that must stay together.

Best Day Ever

Best thing ever. Guess what. Rained today. Rain is so awesome. Is big rain drops along house. When saw, just knew had to chase rain. Ran up and down for over twenty minutes. Was so awesome! Best day ever. Said to rain, "You are rain! You are wet rain! Will bite you!" then bit wet rain. Was so frenzied at rain. After came inside, Jacinta got big dry towel to dry off. Felt so nice, and big dry towel also fun to bite. Then was dry. Cattle Dog fur so best for being wet. Dries fast. But very liked to be dried then sat in Jacinta's lap for cuddles and kisses.Will catch you, wet rain.

'Nother thing have done today is be sneaking in many trickery things. In morning, was given stuffed Kong as usual while Jacinta also ate. When was empty, wanted chew on chairs. Jacinta say no chew on chairs. Kept sticking Kong in mouth to make chew Kong. So balanced Kong on chair. Look like was chewing Kong but really tasting chair. So clever but Jacinta soon found out.

Then later was not allowed downstairs because kept chewing shoes. Was okay because took old tennis ball to play with at top of stairs. Oops, tennis ball fall off stair! Must go get it. And also a shoe. No, Jacinta. Did not mean to come get shoe. Only got tennis ball. Shoe jumped into mouth! Bad shoe.

Also like usual, took stick over to pillow so could chew pillow.

Here is other thing have done today. Am teaching Jacinta very neat trick. All have to do is stand on book with front feet then wait for Jacinta to walk in circle. When she moves, must move with her. See here:

Jacinta say something about "teaching to pivot with front feet in place for left turns in heeling". Not quite know what means by "heeling". Think maybe she sometimes uses word when are on walks together. When get her to feed by staring while walk and sit when stop. Not sure. Also mention that this movie here is the neat lady who taught her to do this. That neat lady and her dog look neater than. Probably because she very skilled and practiced.

Now time to collapse into sleep. Am so tired from awesomest day ever. In the morning will bite Jacinta until she gets up the nice videos.
